Our Client is looking for a Site Supervisor (On-Site) to start immediately. If you're an experienced leader with hands-on carpentry skills, particularly in carpentry and finishing woodwork, and have strong residential experience, particularly in whole-home builds and substantial renovation or new home construction projects, this is your chance to step up. Y

Your Role as a Site Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing projects hands-on while ensuring quality and efficiency. This is not a desk job; we’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and lead by example.


Key Responsibilities
•    Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, with a focus on new builds and whole-home projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
•    Ordering material, organizing and managing materials.
•    Emphasize carpentry, including planning and building spaces on-site. The role will involve a significant amount of carpentry and finishing woodwork.
•    Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project timelines and budgets.
•    Spend a substantial portion of your time "on the tools," performing hands-on carpentry work while also supervising and providing guidance to the team.
•    Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
•    Provide leadership and mentorship to site crews and subcontractors.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to maintain smooth operations.
•    Maintain accurate documentation, including project progress reports and change orders.


Qualifications
•    Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site supervision, with proven expertise in new build and whole-home projects.
•    Strong focus on carpentry and finishing woodwork, with in-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
•    Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
•    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
•    Proficiency in project management software is an asset.
•    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Representative, you’ll forge and nurture key business relationships with architects, consultants, specification writers, engineers, property managers, and contractors through captivating product promotions and presentations. Your motivation and excellent communication skills will pave the way for success as you work independently to meet your market objectives.

Qualifications/Experience

Post-Secondary education from college/university or technical institute. Preferred 3+ years of experience in outside and/or business development, with technical sales experience in building materials as a plus. Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving with minimal supervision.  Exceptional communication, verbal, written, presentation skills. A positive, outgoing, and customer-focused attitude. Valid driver's license is a must.

 

Key Responsibilities

Engage with architects, specification writers, engineers, contractors, and building owners to promote and generate demand for your portfolio of building products. Qualify prospects, generate leads, and organize engaging presentations via Zoom/MS Teams, “Lunch and Learn” sessions, and in-person sales calls when safe to do so. Build and expand your client base with a focus on cultivating strong, trusted industry relationships.


Go the extra mile to provide the best-suited product solutions for clients/projects. Develop effective strategies and plans for market coverage while collaborating with the our Client. Enjoy the flexibility of working from your home office with some local and overnight travel when feasible.
