Our Client is looking for a Site Supervisor (On-Site) to start immediately. If you're an experienced leader with hands-on carpentry skills, particularly in carpentry and finishing woodwork, and have strong residential experience, particularly in whole-home builds and substantial renovation or new home construction projects, this is your chance to step up. Y
Your Role as a Site Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing projects hands-on while ensuring quality and efficiency. This is not a desk job; we’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, with a focus on new builds and whole-home projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Ordering material, organizing and managing materials.
• Emphasize carpentry, including planning and building spaces on-site. The role will involve a significant amount of carpentry and finishing woodwork.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Spend a substantial portion of your time "on the tools," performing hands-on carpentry work while also supervising and providing guidance to the team.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to site crews and subcontractors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including project progress reports and change orders.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site supervision, with proven expertise in new build and whole-home projects.
• Strong focus on carpentry and finishing woodwork, with in-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in project management software is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Vacuum Truck Operator Career Opportunity
Our client offers a full Vacuum truck service and septic tank service for residential and commercial properties in Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane and Crossfield.
We are currently hiring for qualified Vacuum Truck Drivers for the Calgary and areas.
The Role:
Operating vacuum trucks to collect and transport various waste materials, including wastewater.
Delivering waste to designated treatment or disposal facilities and ensuring proper disposal or recycling according to regulations.
Performing routine maintenance on the truck and its equipment, and cleaning.
Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and procedures related to driving and waste disposal.
Interacting with customers, providing service updates, and addressing any questions or concerns.
Completing necessary paperwork, including manifests, logbooks, and pre-trip/post-trip inspection reports.
Assisting with site setup and tear down, including connecting hoses and other equipment.
Communicating with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers using communication devices.
Experience
A valid Class 1 or Class 3 drivers license with appropriate endorsements.
A minimum of two years experience driving vacuum trucks.
Familiarity with local, and federal regulations related to driving, hazardous waste, and environmental protection.
The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and operating equipment.
A basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair is helpful and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to unexpected situations.
Some roles may require experience with specific types of vacuum trucks, such as hydrovac trucks, or sewer flusher with specialized services like high-pressure washer.
Vacuum truck drivers may work in various environments, including industrial sites, construction zones, and residential areas.
